Gwinear Gwithian Parish Council in collaboration with the Connor Downs Residents Association are pleased to announce the appointment of Kompan for the first phase of renovation works at the Elizabeth Sampson Playing Field.
This project aims to enhance the community space, improving both the landscape and play facilities to create a more inclusive, safe, and engaging environment for residents of all ages.
Kompan were appointed for their response to the design that was developed with the Connor Downs community. They stood out for their delivery of diverse high-quality equipment that met the brief on play value, inclusivity, sustainable materials, and longevity of their products.
The first phase of work will deliver new play equipment. Construction will commence on the 22nd of September month and is due for completion this Autumn.
We look forward to working with Kompan to deliver this exciting new park for the community of Connor Downs.
This project is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. The funding was allocated through Cornwall Council’s Community Levelling Up Programme which is part of the Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly Good Growth Programme
