Mar 28, 2017 | Parish News, Uncategorized

We have a special event happening at the Hall for Gwinear this Friday (31st March) between 2-4pm. The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, who put on such a wonderful ‘Resonant Strings’ show for us last year, will be hosting a Tea Dance as part of their Cornwall Residency 2017.

Come along and enjoy the fun in a warm, friendly environment as the BSO Teatime Band perform a huge variety of dance floor classics such as vintage Sinatra, Gershwin and Mancini. Couples, singles and groups of friends of all ages and abilities can enjoy live music and dancing. Join in your favourite dance as we offer something for everyone. Why not Waltz, Tango or Jive the afternoon away accompanied by a cup of tea or two!

The music ranges from Sinatra, Gershwin, Mancini, waltz’s, tango’s and jive’s.

Whether you just like to listen to the music, enjoy making new friends or just want to dance and practice your moves – everyone is welcome.

Tickets £5 includes Tea/Coffee and delicious cakes.
