The Parish Council has donated £1000 to each of the local primary schools to help them in their quest to raise money for their very own defibrillator, this funding would essentially cover two thirds of the cost if a cabinet is required or the entire cost if they decide to purchase just the defib.
The Parish Council will now seek grant funding for the hamlets of Fraddam and Roseworthy where defibs could be located within the two community owned BT phone kiosks.
This map shows the various public access defibrillators available within the Parish (please note not all of the PAD's are managed by GGPC) The map does not include the defibrillators held by the two community primary schools as they are not public access.
The Parish Council has given a grant of £500 towards a public access defibrillator at Rosewarne Park, Connor Downs.
The defibrillator outside the Red River Inn in Gwithian village has been moved to the opposite side of the road on to the grass verge adjacent to the pub:-
