Works are planned to take around 10 shifts between the hours of 09:30 and 16:30 each day. Works will only take place from Monday to Friday (no weekend working). The extent of the works run from the 30 mph sign as you enter the village from the Hayle side and continue right through the main village until just past the junction with Gwinear/Gwithian Road.

In order to complete this work, Cormac have no option but to close the section of road due to the size of their machinery and the road widths on site.

The diversion for the works will use the A30 via Loggans Moor and A3047/Treswithian.

There will be traffic marshals situated at the closure points to allow access to residents. However, there will be no access right through the site due to the works. Cormac ask that drivers approach these marshals and they will then direct you to your destination. Please bear in mind that depending on the exact location of the works on that particular day, you may be asked to travel around the diversion route to reach your desired location.

The bus companies have been informed of the works and are diverting all services using this route. You would need to contact them directly for any detailed information as to timings/routes of these diversions.
