Grant funding success – Community Facility

Feb 18, 2019 | Parish News, Uncategorized

The Parish Council was successful with two grant fund applications it made towards the end of 2018 for the brand new community facility in Reawla.

The first award was made by the National Lottery Community Fund for £10,000. This grant will be used to provide floor coverings throughout the community facility as well as a community projector screen, signage, community display stands, notice boards and tables and chairs.

The second award was made by our local member Cllr Lionel Pascoe through the Cornwall Council Community Chest fund.  This grant will be used towards providing a projector stand, crockery and cutlery, fridge, microwave, kettles and other equipment needed for the community kitchen.  Cllr Pascoe has granted just over £1858 all together towards the community facility from the Community Chest fund.
