Tree Safety Management contract

The Parish Council requires quotations for the following works

The following sites are to be included in the contract:-

1. Reawla Play Park, off Henver Close, Reawla, Hayle, TR27 5HG
2. Elizabeth Sampson Playing Field, off Arundel Way, Connor Downs, Hayle, TR27 5DS
3. Connor Downs Cemetery, off Gwithian Road, Connor Downs, Hayle, TR27 5EA
4. Connor Downs Allotment (adj to cemetery)
5. Gwithian Green Local Nature Reserve and adjacent land, off Churchtown Road, Gwithian, TR27 5BX
6. Gwinear-Gwithian Parish Hall, Copper Meadows, Reawla, Gwinear, Hayle TR27 5FN

Works – Undertake the following:-

• Formal safety inspection of all trees that present a potential hazard to users of the amenity areas or neighbouring property and roads
• Provision of report with full description of individual trees (tree groups if appropriate), clear identification of responsibility and risk level posed by tree, along with recommended remedial work to be carried out, if required
• Accurate mapping showing location of each tree, (ownership/responsibility if known) along with tagging of trees as appropriate to allow easy identification of the tree
• The inspection, report and mapping must be carried out and presented to the council within 3 months from the start of the contract.
• All the properties owned by GGPC are designated as Zone 1 – frequent public access to trees.
• The report should include guidance on when the next inspection is considered appropriate/how long the report is valid for.
