Consultation Summary
Cornwall Council intends to install two build outs with a priority give way system for traffic to the  north-west and south-east of the access into a new development at Angarrack Lane, Connor Downs.

Background:
Planning permission has been granted by Cornwall Council for a housing development served from an improved vehicular access onto Angarrack Lane at Connor Downs.  This permission included a planning condition for these highway improvements which are provided as part of a S278 Agreement with Cornwall Council, to improve highway safety.

Scheme Objectives
These changes aim to improving road safety, for all road users.

This planning permission should never of been granted there is not enough infrastructure within the village. The school is full as is the surgery and the roads cannot take any further traffic. The lane is not wide enough for this extra traffic and will make the village and angarrack an absolute traffic nightmare all year round. The proposed road improvements which is actually a country lane will not help at all and will only increase the risk of RTA at the junction onto the main road and through Angarrack. This will create more danger to the local elderly and young families who walk daily. Yet another disgraceful decision by Cornwall council

I totally support and agree with this comment. This is the most dangerous and stupid scheme I have ever seen. It puts all residents in danger. You should be traffic calming all the way to Steamers Hill not putting in a new development. The build outs will cause chaos for home owners. Traffic queues all the way to the junction and this will affect the road junction which is terrible.
