Superfast Cornwall Grant Fund

Sep 16, 2013 | Parish News

Superfast broadband is taking off in Cornwall and is now available to more than 75% of premises in the county.  This means that thousands of businesses can take advantage of faster broadband speeds and transform the way they do business.

Cornwall Development Company currently has funding available for businesses that are making changes and investments to their company which are based on the use of superfast broadband.  Projects can be big or small and can include investments in video conferencing, new IT infrastructure, new e-commerce websites, app development and much more.

Funding, under the Superfast Cornwall Fund, is available for projects from £1000 up to £50,000.  More information can be found at www.superfastcornwall.org/fund or by calling 01209 311104.

By the end of 2104, at least 95% of people in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly will be able to connect to the superfast broadband, and we are aiming to bring faster broadband to everyone else through alternative technologies.

Anyone can check to see if they can order superfast broadband by visiting www.superfastcornwall.org/check
