The County of Cornwall (Gwinear Road Connor Downs) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2014

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 15th January 2014 prohibiting the use by through traffic of the undermentioned length of road at Connor Downs. This restriction is necessary for level crossing review works. Exemptions are provided in the Order for emergency vehicles. It is expected that the Order will be in effect from 18th to 19th January 2014 (1900 to 1000 hours)

Gwinear Road between Grid Reference SW6123438394 and SW 61271 38342

Alternative Route

From the south end of the closure continue in a southerly direction along Gwinear Road leading onto Station Road. Then take a south westerly direction onto Carnhell Road, then take a westerly direction onto Gwinear Lane leading onto Churchtown, Herland Hill and Nanpusker Road. Take a northerly turn onto Guildford Road and a north easterly direction onto Carwin Rise leading onto Connor Hill, Turnpike Road and Horsepool Road. Then in a southerly direction turn onto Gwinear Road leading towards the north end of the closure; and vice versa
