Cllr Brian Pocock

Oct 7, 2015 | Parish News

Dear Community,

If you are not already aware I am sorry to have to inform you that our Chairman, Councillor Brian Pocock passed away on the 30th September.

This will be a huge loss as Brian touched so many lives, he was involved in so many aspects of the Parish Council, community and wider area.

Our condolences go out to his family and we ask you to respectfully give them the time they need to grieve for an honourable, hard working and enthusiastic gentleman.

Brian’s wishes were to have his ashes scattered down at Godrevy with as many family and friends present, followed by a celebratory wake. Bearing this in mind his family have decided to have a private cremation and then invite everyone to celebrate his life in a month or so’s time at a weekend to allow as many people as possible to be there.

Vida.

Mrs Vida Perrin

Clerk to the Council

Gwinear-Gwithian Parish Council,
