Gwinear-Gwithian Parish Council is the qualifying body capable of making a Neighbourhood Plan but Cornwall Council are the Planning Authority so are the ones who have to conduct the poll on Thursday. On Thursday you can either vote ‘no’ which will mean the Neighbourhood Plan will not be adopted and Cornwall Council will make decisions on planning applications in the parish using the county wide ‘Cornwall Local Plan’ (CLP) or vote ‘yes’ to adopting the Gwinear-Gwithian Parish ‘Neighbourhood Plan’ which will mean it will be used when making decisions on planning applications alongside the CLP.
